We stand behind every product we sell. If you're not satisfied or received a defective item, we'll make it right.

Return Window

You may return eligible products within 7 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and include all accessories and manuals.

Eligible Returns

We accept returns for the following reasons:

• Defective on arrival — Item does not work or is damaged when delivered.
• Wrong item shipped — You received a different product from what you ordered.
• Incomplete order — Missing items or accessories from your order.
• Not as described — Product specifications differ from the listing.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

• Items returned after the 7-day window.
• Items showing signs of installation, use, or modification.
• Items without original packaging, manuals, or accessories.
• Custom-configured or special-order systems.
• Software, licenses, or downloadable products.

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return:

1. We will notify you by email within 2-3 business days of receiving the item.
2. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method.
3. Refunds typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank.

Return Shipping

For defective, wrong, or damaged items, we cover the return shipping cost. For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping. We recommend using a trackable shipping service for all returns.

Warranty Claims

All products come with manufacturer warranty. Warranty periods and terms vary by brand and product:

• Solar panels: 10-25 years performance warranty
• Inverters: 1-5 years depending on brand and model
• LiFePO4 batteries: 3-5 years
• Lead-acid batteries: 6-12 months
• Charge controllers: 1-2 years

For warranty claims, contact our support team with your order number and a description of the issue. We will guide you through the claim process with the manufacturer.

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return:

1. Contact our support team at hello@buysolargenerator.ng or call +234 800 123 4567 within 7 days of delivery.
2. Provide your order number and describe the issue (photos/videos help speed up the process).
3. We will provide return instructions and, if applicable, a prepaid return label.
4. Pack the item securely in its original packaging and ship it back to us.

Your Rights
